Passenger Anim Upgrades
One of our character artists, Oliver, made a lot of cool new passenger animations while we were developing the Goblin line. I'd been given a heads up about it so started designing some sounds for them! I've had some great reactions to them internally & I think they add a nice bit off extra immersive detail into the world

Watching films on a phone

The phone video animation is the most interesting audio-wise.
Oli animated someone watching videos on their phone, so I decided it would be cool to make some short films for it!
I ended up designing 3 based on a few different tracks the Ben had made for the game's soundtrack

I thought it would be funny to make some short, parody-like shows that could serve as background noise yet still become a bit of a fun easter egg if you listened carefully enough.

Yes, I voiced all of them, so that adds a bit to the cheesiness

The Blockbuster show is about someone who has to get a train to Chatham on time, but just made very dramatic & intense.
The Documentary is kind of a parody of documentary intros where they're talking like they're trying to hit a word count. I think this was probably my favourite of the 3 to make
The King's Railway is about a team of builders assigned to build a railway for the king & they all get knighthoods for their excellent work!
Here are the scripts that I wrote below!
I also want to mention that I made these all up in their entirety and they have literally zero significance to Train Sim World other than serving as a cool background detail for the passengers that I wanted to add as a bit of fun.

[Driver]
There's no way we could possibly do it!

[Station Master]
Hey, Look at me. You're the only driver we've got left that could possibly drive this train.
I need you.
We've gotta get this train to Chatham and you're the only hope we've got.
Now take your seat and drive that train!

[Driver]
Ok. Yeah...Yeah. I- I can do it. Let's go.

30-seconds left, Come on! Come on!!!
We did it! WOOO!
Opening the doors!

The King's Railway

[Construction team leader]
Alright boys, I've been assigned a task of the up-most importance and I need you to cooperate with me every step of the way.
The King has appointed us to build new railway infrastructure.
It's not gonna be easy, but I want you to work like your life depends on it.
We may buckle a track or two, but, that's a sacrifice I'm willing to take.
We won't leave a sleeper unused. We won't leave a rail unclamped. We will build the best railway the world's ever seen.
So what do youn say boys? Let's build boys! Build!

Here's the railway you asked for your highness.

[The King]
And a splendid job indeed. Knighthoods for all!
