Great Western Express Remaster
From the oldest, to the newest!
Following on from the West Somerset Railway Remaster, Liam has been hard at work remastering the Great Western Express route. The oldest UK route in Train Sim World! And I've been having a lot of fun overhauling the audio!
What have I done?
Brief overview until more is revealed...
Full route audio overhaul:
Similar to West Somerset Railway, But on a much larger & more ambitious scale.
The route ambience will be completely new with loads of new details scattered along the route.
This will of course incorporate my tunnel / bridge noise & canopy rain features expected from our current & future routes.
These remasters are always a great opportunity for me to play around and experiment with creating new blueprints & I've got a few cool details up my sleeve that I hope people will like!
Loco audio overhaul:
All locos from Great Western Express & The Diesel Legends of the Great Western DLC will see mixing improvements, tweaks & fixes. Plenty of new horn edits & maybe even a couple of new horns & whistles that found in the original recordings that went unused!
There's still plenty to do, but I hope you're looking forward to hearing more from us!
